“Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.” ~Proverbs 19:21
In 2016, we welcomed our first Goldendoodle, Sansa, and were astounded by how therapeutic she was for our toddler! Inspired by this experience, my husband and I felt compelled to share our journey with others. Soon after, we learned that our son is Autistic, launching us on a passionate mission that continues to confirm its worth every day.
Our purpose is to uplift families like ours. We carefully select our dams and sires, ensuring the best chance of producing exceptional service and support dogs, alongside wonderful family pets. It all begins with health testing our moms and dads; their well-being directly influences the happiness and health of their puppies.
In the first three weeks, our focus is on nurturing the puppies with their mother, while thoughtfully introducing small stressors to aid in their development. Daily activities include Early Scent Introduction (ESI) and Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS)—brief exercises that profoundly impact the quality of their lives.
From day four, we implement a ten-step handling exercise designed by Jeanette Forrey of 4E Kennels, starting with gentle massages and gradually increasing pressure each week. This process cultivates a dog who is comfortable with all types of touch.
Starting at week three, we introduce a variety of smells, textures, sounds, and visuals, along with socialization with different people. Each day, we dedicate time to ensure our puppies receive everything necessary for a strong start in life, fostering confidence and resilience.
Every dog possesses a unique gift and purpose! At seven weeks, we conduct temperament testing to unveil their individual talents, whether it’s Autism support, diabetic alert tasks, facility therapy, ESA work, hunting, or simply being a loving companion for your family. Please note, our testing is solely to discover the potential of service or therapy dog prospects; we don’t train them ourselves.
We are deeply grateful for your interest in our mission. Thank you! If you have any questions, please reach out to us!
